We have received a couple of reports that on some systems Irish Enterprise South is taking a long while to install, yet on other systems it is installing quite quickly.

At present we are unsure what the common link is with slow installs but will continue to monitor the situation and update this tech doc as required.

Please note that in reported cases where installation is slow leaving the installer to work has resulted in a successful install. However, do bear in mind that the installer is placing in excess of 1.3 GB of data onto your hard drive.

If the above solution doesn't work, try copying the entire contents of the DVD onto your desktop and running the installer from there. As access times are generally faster from a local drive this should allow a faster install that overcomes any problems you have been experiencing.
