Scottish Capital Express

Take the controls of one of the frequent push-pull services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh in the latest route from MakingTracks. Set in the late 1970s to early 1980s it's a time of change with the top and tailed Class 27s on the push-pull services being replaced by Class 47/7s with air conditioned Mk3 coaches and specially converted DBSOs. Mix in regional services formed mainly of steam heated Mk1 coaches, first generation DMUs and some freight and you're in for a real dose of nostagia.

Created for Making Tracks by Great Eastern route builder Kerr McIntosh along with Dave Corfield the creator of the ever popular Dorset Coast series of freeware routes, Scottish Capital Express is a high quality reproduction of this important travel corridor.

Oh we nearly forgot to mention - just about everything is painted blue!
