Time slips past so fast at this time of year with all the extra demands we find on our time. I can't believe it's already the 15th and the monthly update is late, mainly because it's been waiting for a complete render of our winter freebie. Things have been moving apace since last month with some installs of RailWorks taking a hammering. The master shape for the 102t bogie tank has been in the clutches of the testers a couple of times and is now tight enough to allow the varied versions to be created. One scenario has already had its player path and AI traffic passed with a clean bill of health and ready for the final static items to be added, a second scenario is about to descend on the testers to try their best to break. As a bit of a surprise we've decided to create an independent snow plough as a quick taster of things to come in a form that will be fully at home on the ECML of the 1970s before the surviving examples succumbed to rebuilding by Railtrack a couple of decades later, for a bit more information take a look here. No doubt this won't be the last little item we find to give you from time to time. In other news:It's been great to see the number of people taking an interest in our networking opportunities and starting to interact, if only to prove at times that you can't please all the people, all of the time. If you've not been following the blog or keeping an eye on our Facebook page take a look at the Social Networks section for a bit more information. We've also added a chat option to the website as a bit of an experiment where you can make direct contact when we're online if you fancy saying 'hello', it should be down at the right hand corner of your screen. |
