The Evesham Branch: 16t Mineral Wagon
16t mineral wagons

Built to by all of the "Big Four" companies to several designs, the 16 ton mineral wagon was designed to offer standardisation and replace ageing fleets of timber bodied (and often timber framed) wagons.

The versions built for the Evesham branch represent the later BR diagram 1/108, and feature both fitted (with vacuum brakes) and unfitted versions.

The Evesham Branch: 12t Banana Van
BR 12t Banana Van

Fruit traffic was very important to the Evesham branch; as such, many fruit wagons could be seen along it.

These banana vans, built to a standard BR design, have been sequestered from their usual duties to help with the summer harvests.

The Evesham Branch: 25t Lowmac
LMS 25t Lowmac

This model represents an LMS 25t “Low Machinery” wagon, designed for carrying heavy or large loads.

The large, sunken centre of the wagon allows loads to be carried that would otherwise be too large to fit on a normal flat wagon.

The Evesham Branch: BR 20t Brake Van
BR 20t Brake

The ubiquitous diagram 1/504, more commonly known as the BR 20t Brake.

Built to a design based on the LNER’s “Toad D” brakevan, they were a mainstay of most goods traffic seen in the period seen here.

Two versions are provided, one being fitted and painted in Bauxite (brown), and the other unfitted, in grey.
