LMS 20t Brake

Along with the BR 20t brake, these vans saw usage all over the country, bringing up the rear of goods trains.

LMS 20t Plate wagon

Large plate steel was the primary conveyance of these wagons, carried flat on the decks.

The plates had an enormous number of uses all over the country, from heavy industry to the manufacture of household goods. The wagons could also be seen in engineers’ trains and in general freight use.

LMS 3 Plank Wagon

Another wagon used for the conveyance of general goods. Cargo was often sheeted down with a tarpaulin to protect it from elements.

LMS 1 Plank Wagon

For carrying anything too big to fit inside a covered van. The wagons featured tie-down loops along the side for securing their loads, which could be anything from farm machinery to large crated goods.
